Hampers Of Happiness

Click here for the Facebook page of Hampers Of Happiness founded by Sarah / The Hive beauty bar to support those who are having a hard time during Covid lockdowns. Started in July 2021 I realised I couldn’t spread the happiness on my own so I bought on Jo & a few other friends within the Sunbury Community to help spread the happiness. With donations from the community and other small local business, including The Hive beauty bar we have spread the joy to over 300 people in need of some love in our community.

Community retreat nights

Before Covid-19 The Hive was beginning our journey of organising Community Retreats! Our Community Retreats consist of a special guest speaker from our community talking about their journey in their profession. Pampering our guests are beauticians from our community. These nights are shown to help others to grow confidence and learn about self acceptance in a safe and comfortable space. We can’t wait to get back these amazing nights!

Work Experience

During the last 2 years The Hive has had 9+ work experience / placement students learning about what it’s like to be in a fully running studio. We try to take as many students as we can from the Sunbury & Macedon Rangers area so they can learn & experience a small part of living life as a Makeup Artist / Hair Stylist / Nail Artist / from some of the top professionals we have here in Sunbury & Victoria.

In 2019 Sarah Collins Makeup Artist donated over $1,500 of vouchers to support our community!
